Scott Dunlap Chairman of the Board, Founder & CEO As CEO of NearbyNow, Inc., Scott brings over 15 years of experience in developing new Internet technologies to strengthen retailer connections with customers. At E.piphany, Inc., his product management team developed data mining and marketing technology to help retailers such as Charles Schwab, Microsoft, and Godiva better target and grow their customers. Later he joined the founding team of Loudcloud (now Opsware: OPSW) to operate and manage some of the largest e-commerce sites in the world for companies like Nike, Fannie Mae, Univision, and USA Today. At Avolent, he helped develop e-billing software to streamline customer interactions for companies such as Dell, Office Depot, and Xerox. He also founded 4charity.com (sold to Innovaware) to develop technology to assist non-profit companies in online fundraising. Scott is on the Board of Advisors for Reactrix and Coverity. Scott holds a B.S. from the University of Oregon, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. |

Josh Goldman General Partner Josh Goldman is a General Partner at Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) with more than 20 years of operational experience as an entrepreneur, CEO, board member and investor in several high-growth technology companies. At NVP, Josh focuses on investments in consumer-facing internet products and services including search, e-commerce, social networking and digital media. Prior to NVP, Josh was the CEO of Akimbo Systems, Inc. (video-on-demand content), the CEO of mySimon, Inc. (a pioneer in online comparison shopping services), the President of Cnet's Consumer Division, and held management roles at USWeb/CKS, Softbank Content Services, Phoenix Technologies, and Apple Computer. Josh has also served on the Board of Directors at Synaptics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYNA) through its Initial Public Offering as well as at Ask Jeeves (NASDAQ: ASKJ) until its acquisition by IAC/Interactive Corp for $1.9 billion. Josh holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science (honors) degree in Computer Science from Tufts University. |

Howard Hartenbaum Director Howard Hartenbaum is a General Partner at Draper Richards L.P. He focuses on investments in enterprise and consumer software and services, wireless network solutions, and peer-to-peer technology. In addition to NearbyNow, he is currently on the boards of BlackFoot, DecentralTV, and LucidPort. He led the founding investment in Skype (acquired by eBay), and was also a former member of the board of directors where his achievement resulted in his joining the Forbes Midas List of top venture capitalists for the years 2006-2007. Prior to joining Draper Richards, Mr. Hartenbaum held positions at Hughes Electronics, where he was responsible for supporting business development, marketing and sales of satellite, information security and automotive technologies developed by HRL Technologies. He has also worked in engineering positions at Honda Motor Company and Teledyne Relays. Mr. Hartenbaum has worked overseas for a total of ten years in Luxembourg and Japan, is professionally fluent in Japanese and a graduate of M.I.T. |

Emily Melton Director Emily Melton is a Director at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where her primary areas of interest include software, technology-enabled services and consumer-oriented technologies. Emily initially joined DFJ in 2000, and rejoined the firm in 2005 after earning an MBA at Stanford University. While pursuing her MBA, Emily worked for the CEO of InSpa, an early stage consumer retail company in Seattle, where she was actively involved in developing the company.s new market rollout strategy. During her tenure at the firm, Emily has worked closely with the teams and boards of a number of portfolio companies, including Mailfrontier (acquired by SonicWall), Pronto Networks, TrustedID and Wavemarket. In addition to NearbyNow, she currently serves on the board of Tagworld. Emily holds a BA with honors and distinction in Political Philosophy and an MBA, both from Stanford University. |
